Dates and batch codes on PET and glass bottles, caps and cans moving at line speed — the classic CIJ job, because the print head never touches the container.
Printers: MufengTech CIJ printers such as MF-M2000 High Stable CIJ Inkjet Printer (up to 528 m/min). General black inks such as Willett 201-0001-601 Black Ink 1L (Compatible) are described for plastic bottles, metal cans and glass jars.
Cables, wires & pipes
Running metre marks and product codes on black or coloured cable sheaths, hoses and PVC pipes, where the code has to stand out on a dark surface.

High-contrast, adhesive codes on HDPE, PE, PVC, rubber and metal parts.

Food, cosmetics & pharmaceutical packaging
Expiry dates and lot numbers on films, bottles, tubes and boxes.
Inks: 1072K High-Adhesion Black Ink with S1018 Make-up for Hitachi UX (plastics, metals, glass, food and pharmaceutical packaging) and Black CIJ Ink for Matthews Inkjet Printers. For PET, glass and paper-based packs without consumables, consider a High-Speed Scanning CO2 Laser Marking Machine.
Eggs
Laying date, farm code and traceability information printed directly on the shell.
